So we set off to Pemberton via Spokane Washington? That was really going
the long way but it was worth it:). We had to play an acoustic set before
we made the long run in. But we did it. Between Bill and Johan they drove
a little over 12 hours and we got through the border and into Pemberton
around 3 am. The road to the festival was just crazy, it seemed like
something from an Arcade game.

The show went great. Low Vs Diamond set the day off and we followed up on
the same stage. But it was just beautiful out there. The festival was just
huge. Mountains were circling the entire event. The strange thing is we
ran into so many people we knew or just met a few weeks ago while we have
been on tour. It one of those things where you always need to be on your
best behavior because the world is so small.

Johan has a good story about jumping a tent that didn’t quite work
out…if you are interested you’ll have to email him.

We went back to the hotel and just made use of everything there. It’s just
an insane place to be. We had to leave pretty early the following day for
a 15 + hour drive so we can be in Sacramento on Tuesday for a show at the
Hard Rock. That was a seriously long drive, wow again Bill and Johan killed
it!

The past two weeks have been good travel days for the band.

We ended last week in Arizona and we made our way to Santa Barbara
on Sunday night. I got some good reading in on the trip. I am reading
“Confederacy of Dunces” and “Twilight”, both great books when you need
to escape.

Sunday night’s show was crazy. Rik and I ended up dancing in the
crowd while playing “I’m Not Over”. It was so much fun!

Here are some photos of our journeys over the past two weeks.

Playing in Arizona was hot! We woke up Thursday morning,
went to the gas station and the van died! Luckily within ten
minutes we had a new battery and were on our way.
We took off and got to Tempe actually on time for an
on-air performance and a sound check. Somehow everything
happened to turn out the way it was planned!
Tempe is hot, but not a bad place to play by any means.

After the show we took off for Tucson and stayed two nights
in The Congress Hotel. The hotel didn’t have any AC but
rumors were floating around that it was haunted! Unfortunately
we tried had snap some pictures of the ghosts but had no luck.
