Just wanted to say thank you to Y101 for having us. We didn’t get to stay in Richmond for very long at all but my god we had fun while we were there. We hope that you guys will have us back soon with whole band!
You can check out video from our visit here:
This End /WEND was closer to home than I could have ever thought. When we got to the station I ended up running into a gentleman that I meet at my first job in the music business, at WEZL in Charleston! When I worked there I was the mascot for the station which was a big Weasel. The strange and crazy things that happen when you wear a costume in the middle of a southern summer can really scar you for life!! We actually get to talk about one really weird thing that happened in the five questions link here.
Our song Beautiful World was featured on MTV’s The Hills last night. That’s THREE WEEKS IN A ROW!!
Check it out:
You can check out the lyrics at the bottom of this post.
Also, here’s some video of us… well…
10 minutes later…

CAROLINA LIAR
“Beautiful World”
Here it comes in the morning
I’m just trying to forget
Keep it real, keep it simple
And somehow just get out of bed
And this city is endless
I’m as cold as it’s stone
Yeah this city is endless
And I’m, I’m walking alone
CHORUS
Sunlight creeps in between the curtains
Lose the sheets there’s no time for sleep
I lie, I pretend ‘til I’m almost certain
It’s a beautiful world
I wanna ask for direction
But I don’t dare to disturb
I got a thing with affections
Yeah, that’s why I’m walking alone
CHORUS
Sunlight creeps in between the curtains
Lose the sheets there’s no time for sleep
I lie, I pretend ‘til I’m almost certain
It’s a beautiful world
Here it comes in the morning…
CHORUS
Sunlight creeps in between the curtains
Lose the sheets there’s no time for sleep
I lie, I pretend ‘til I’m almost certain
It’s a beautiful world
(Yeah, it’s a beautiful world)
la la la la
I pretend ‘til I’m almost certain
It’s a beautiful world
