We played a morning talk show today that went over pretty well.
Everyone was extremely funny at the station.
After that we took off to Banf.
We did some off roading for a bit and we got some
great pictures of a moose. It was a least the size of our car, no lie.
We went back to the hotel got some food together.
We toasted to Jules because he’s now gone back to Sweden and he is truely missed.

Saturday: V Fest

So today is a big one. We left the Hotel at around 10.
We got to Fort Calgary and there’s Wayne from
flaming lips hanging out in the tent.
That was truely great to see him. Didn’t want to bother him but it was really cool to see the guys hanging.
We went to the Molson tent and played rock band with
guys from the company.
For the most part we hung out until we played @ 3 then we played around 8 at the molson tent after watching the flaming lips.

Sunday: Back to Los Angeles then South Carolina.

Right now I’m back home and it is hot.
The rest of the guys are in Sweden.
This week and last week have been pretty mellow. We are getting ready for the video for ‘Show Me’.

Today we had a bit of a day off. I’m sick as a dog so we moved hotel
rooms and I slept the day away.

Tuesday…

Today we are off to Kansas City. The heat is just unreal. As we
got into town this amazing thunderstorm kicked in. In town a gas
silo was on fire and these massive flames were in the air. It was
just beautiful and a bit scary at the same time.

Big Radio Show…

Today we played in front of 2000 plus people, it was such a rush. We opened
for Ever Clear. It was so LOUD. We had a good crowd that
played along with us; it was just great. Thank you for showing us so much
kindness. Everyone let us get a little rowdy and out of hand. Thank you
guys again for watching out for us and letting us live out this crazy
dream. I hope everyone who stayed with us had as much fun as we did.

Drive day…

Today was a twelve hour drive from Kansas City to Cincinnati Ohio.
Everyone is either sick or hung over. The only thing that we did
today was just sit back and laugh about the day before but man we have all
felt better than this.

The heat is still on. Now everyone is really sick. We meet up with De Nova
Dahl at a nice size room in the city for a Friday night show, but nobody
showed…it was a crazy thing to play one show with 2000+ to a crowd of 2
people, but no matter we all had a good time. De Nova Dahl got down to
their underwear and played as hard as they could. We left that night and
made our way to Albany. The next day we played at the Middle East in Boston.

Lost Shoes…

In Rochester I come to discover that I have left my shoes at the Holiday Inn,
Kansas City. The hotel isn’t calling me back, so whoever kept those shoes and ties
I left behind I hope that they are the best
shoes you’ve ever had and I hope they last you a life time!!! Anyway, I
tried to find some new shoes for the show tonight but no luck. We
take off for Boston around 12. It was a quick drive. We stopped at a Cracker
Barrel where all the guys got to discover how much better vegetables are
when you cook them in bacon fat!! I managed to find some
shoes that were just so bad they are awesome! The show went well. Thank
you guys for coming out and supporting us tonight!!

The North Star….

I have now become so sick that I cant even sing. We drive into Philly and
had to cancel the show. I feel pretty bad about it and I’m sorry that we
weren’t able to play for you guys. We left and went back to New York while
Bill and Julius left to get our gear back to Los Angeles so we have it for
the Jimmy Kimmel Show on Thursday.

New York…

Max and I have a radio show this morning at 9am and my voice is still
shot, but somehow we get through it (Max covered me on the high parts).
Then following that show we went to MTV for some interviews.
They have been so good to us there.
MTV is adding us next week to their Discover and Download for all of their
channels!! We spent two hours there and then we
were off to Teen Vogue. My voice is still shot but we make it through
somehow! Then we played for Cosmo Girl and finally we went to
Atlantic. Somehow as sick as all of us
were we made it through the day. That night we had a great dinner and
crashed.

Day Two New York…

Today we start off at XM Radio at 11 am.
After that show we make it back to Atlantic. We have a bunch of
meetings there and then after all of those we have two more performances,
one at an ad agency and one at Alt Nation.
Tomorrow we go back to Los Angeles for the Jimmy Kimmel show!

Travel day…

Got back to our house still not cleaned up from the accident.
We have to take care of all that madness this week but for the most part we spent the day getting
ready for the Jimmy Kimmel show.

Big day…

Today is the big one. First we play for NARAS and we got our first
standing O. That was a big boost for what we were going to being doing
tonight. After NARAS we rushed over to the Kimmel show and started getting
set up for tonight. We were all so excited. First big show for TV that
we’ve done. It turned out to be just great! The show was really fun and
everything went off the way it was planned. Tour number 3 is now over…now we are back in
LA getting ready for the summer festivals!

Tuesday:
Omaha has been really kind to us today. Nothing too crazy, a good show. I
got to see a family that I haven’t been able to see for a very long
time! We left town and had a long drive to St. Louis.

Wednesday:
When as soon as we got into town we played at The Point. We did get to
take in the city just a little from the roof top of our hotel. The Bluejay
was a fun room and we made a lot of friends in the city. Around midnight
we made our way to Ohio!

Thursday:
Today was an early one. We got into town around four in the morning then
we needed to be at the radio station at 11:30, that was a tough turn-around.
But we made it then we took off for The Pearl in Dayton. That was a crazy
show. Everyone played extremely hard. We stayed until around 2AM then went back to the hotel
to get ready for a 4AM flight back to Los Angeles
for the Guys Choice awards and an after party at the Playboy mansion

Friday:
Today has been busy, my god. We landed in Los Angeles and went straight
to the hotel, we got some new suits thanks to J Lindeberg (you make dirty road
hogs look almost presentable)! This night was again one of the most
surreal moments ever. Harrison Ford, Heff, Snoop, and we got to be there? We
got to introduce Bill Burr and then we checked out to go the Mansion. That
was pretty funny, I guess we built it up a little but we were really
grateful to get to see what happens behind the gates. We went back to the hotel,
caught a flight, and headed to Minnesota.

Saturday:
All we did today was travel. We got into town and just crashed.

Sunday:
Mall Of America and sleep.
We all stayed in until around 1PM. Then we took off to this insane
mall. It had three stories or more and just everything that one might ever
need, including magnets! Our show tonight was at the club where they filmed
Purple Rain! It was Tally Hall’s last night so they had a full blow-out show. They invited all of us up to sing Just A Friend. It was a good night, a really good one. We had to change
the shows we had on the 3rd and 4th for a show in Kansas City, so we have
one day off for travel. I Hope that we can make it back soon to see
everyone.

Friday @ the Highdive.
Just jumped into the van on the way to Utah! We had a solid show but Max has gotten a case of food poisoning. But he played really strong. We stayed late last night with everyone and had some great pizza with two of our biggest fans in Washington! Thank you Kristan and Tacitita for buying so many Cds and T- Shirts you really helped us get across the country!

Saturday
On the way to provo. Last night we stay in Twin Falls at the red lion. We had a late start but we made it on time to Velour. What a Beautiful room and a great crowd. Everyone came out early and made a lot of noise! We took off almost right after the show and started our way to Denver.

SUNDAY NIGHT AT THE FALCON
Tonight was Low Vs Diamond’s last night and they were heading back to Los Angeles. So in proper fashion we and all of the guys from all the bands partied a little extra tonight in the name of Low! Everyone played a really great set and Johan became the tattoo sharpie artist of all time! Almost everyone got some lovely body art.

Monday
Bad News Today

There was a terrible accident at our house today. Rebecca and Alexandra woke up to the sound of a car crashing down into the carport. They both did everything they could do and were safe but two passengers didn’t make it. Please, if you read this blog, please send your thoughts and love to the passengers, their family and Rebecca and Alexandra. We drove from Denver to Omaha today but it was a somber ride. Life is so fragile and for the most part it gets taken for granted. We are here in Omaha tonight just hanging out at the hotel. Please again be sure to tell the people that mean the most to you that you love them. There is just no way to predict what the next day or hour is going to bring.

Tuesday Morning
Holiday inn.
We have the day off until sound check so far we are starting better than yesterday. Tonight we are at the waiting room so please come and join us in Omaha.

We got into San Fran and stayed at the Phoenix hotel last night around 2am. The drives are going to be long on this trip. This morning I woke up and checked emails to find a solid review in USA Today and thought, everything is gonna be alright.

Johan and I got up and walked around the city to get some food then tried to find a store to buy the cd. We did end up getting a little lost but we got some great photos and a solid workout. We have just finished a marathon tour of the city and we are getting supplies for tonight’s show at Slims. Here’s some pictures of the days events so far.

Now it’s 1:58 am. We finished our show at slims and now we are on our way to Portland to play the Roseland grill. We had a great show and a really solid crowd for something so early in the evening. We did stop by Best Buy to pick up the CD to see what it feels like to actually buy our music in a store. That was a new experience for sure. Best Buy had one copy left so it was a good day all around!
