The past two weeks have been good travel days for the band.

We ended last week in Arizona and we made our way to Santa Barbara
on Sunday night. I got some good reading in on the trip. I am reading
“Confederacy of Dunces” and “Twilight”, both great books when you need
to escape.

Sunday night’s show was crazy. Rik and I ended up dancing in the
crowd while playing “I’m Not Over”. It was so much fun!

Here are some photos of our journeys over the past two weeks.

Playing in Arizona was hot! We woke up Thursday morning,
went to the gas station and the van died! Luckily within ten
minutes we had a new battery and were on our way.
We took off and got to Tempe actually on time for an
on-air performance and a sound check. Somehow everything
happened to turn out the way it was planned!
Tempe is hot, but not a bad place to play by any means.

After the show we took off for Tucson and stayed two nights
in The Congress Hotel. The hotel didn’t have any AC but
rumors were floating around that it was haunted! Unfortunately
we tried had snap some pictures of the ghosts but had no luck.

So tonight we were to be in Arizona but we have just played the Good Hurt in Venice and it was a great show for us. This was the first real show that Rickard played in since he joined up with us about three weeks ago. This show came out of nowhere at all. We got an email on Sunday morning and we are playing on a Monday night! Everything went really great. The gear that we bought for the tour is working great and we are really ready to do this every night of the week. The good hurt was a little empty when we got there but no matter we really had a great time. Next week we play again @ 10:30.

Right Now we are all living at a house in Laurel Canyon with some nights at the Econo Lodge on Vine. At first we were worried we wouldn’t have any gigs but so far we’ve played at a house party twice, the good hurt and coming up on the 21st we are going to be playing at the viper room in Hollywood! Last week we played at the Fox lot and got some really great news but that’s going to be another story.
