Portland
Thursday, August 21st, 2008Today was just great. We got to sleep until 12 and sound check was easy. We played at a place called the Crystal Ballroom. Derek Trucks was playing in the big room and he came walking through while we were waiting. That has got to be one of the best parts of this life on the road, seeing some of your favorites and some rock royalty up close and personal! Thank you guys again for letting us get to do this. It is truly one great ride.
We did get to tour the Portland underground today and man what a dark haunted scene that was. I think that I got touched by a ghost because I got a crazy rash while we were underground. Again, you guys sold out the room. It was just insane how out of hand that show got! Thank you again.
